NORTH BEND NEWS:

The annual Coast Classic Wrestling Tournament takes place this Friday and Saturday in the NBHS Gym! We have 38 teams attending with over 700 wrestlers participating. Wrestling starts at 1:00 on Friday and 9:00 on Saturday. Passes available at the door as follows:  Day Pass for Students $6 and Adults $10. 2-Day Tournament Pass for Students $10 and Adults $15.

Join us Thursday, December 8th at 7pm for our North Bend Middle School Choir Concert with Director Ken Graber. This event will be held in the Middle School Gym

NBMS is currently collecting cake mix and frosting for Christmas food boxes for families in the community. Our goal is 1,000. So far we have collected only half of that goal. Parents & Students, bring in your donations to your advisory teachers or front office. Keep the cake mix and frosting coming!

Focus Group Report: Last month the North Bend community was invited to participate in a survey regarding the focus of NBSD. Here are the results from that survey.

The Chamber Education Committee is seeking educators at all levels of involvement, especially those who have contributed to the educational process through direct student involvement or partnership activities to be nominated for the Excellence in Education Award. The North Bend School District welcomes inquiries about our schools.

The North Bend School District comprises an area of 188 square miles. 

Six schools provide educational services for children in grades kindergarten through twelve. 

There are two elementary schools, a middle school, a high school and an online school.
