At the Lighthouse School our vision is one of parents, teachers, students and community members coming together to co-create a new way of learning. Students are more than passive recipients of information. They flourish in a "culture of thinking", one that encourages them to think critically and creatively.

Students are challenged and inspired by a school that views each child as having a contribution to make to the classroom.

There is structure as needed for consistency, yet within the structure, teachers are free to develop successful methods for inspiring curiosity and achieving academic and non-academic success. We strive to ignite and sustain a passion for lifelong learning in a setting known for excellence in all areas.
